Overview
2014 was another fantastic year for our Club. Many of our members competed for the first time, and everyone did their personal best in all competitions entered. The club travelled to three interclubs – Moorebank, Hunters Hill & Lithgow Interclub competitions, where we competed against four to five other clubs. This gave us an opportunity to assess our routines and make any corrections. At Moorebank, Kia Morgan received a 2nd place, Jessica Neville received a Dance award and Kristie Newman received 3rd place. At Lithgow, Sophie Ackland received a rising star award, Kia Morgan placed 2nd and Kristie Newman also placed second. Everyone worked beautifully and made the club very proud. Following the Interclubs, focus was placed on the Team and Zone competitions. The club entered an Intermediate Seniors Team. Six young Ladies trained together to compete as one and did the club proud. Alana Neville was a Semi Finalist in the Open Advanced Ladies Section and Kia Morgan made the top 12 in the State for the Intermediate Seniors, before going on to place 3rd overall in Grand Champion Girl. Alana Neville was also a finalist the zone Advanced Ladies section. |
